Walking along with first generation believers as the learn to walk along with Jesus.
Shepherding. Mentoring brothers and sisters in Christ.
Making disciples and training young leaders.
In the above photo Clayton accompanies house church leader, Eugenio Gomez and his son as they bring the sheep home for the night. After I took the photo, I realized that it symbolizes our work strategy: local believers growing in leadership as they plan and lead the local work, and we accompany them as they learn and grow.

Mauricio and Byron Gomez are brothers and good buddies who are involved with leading worship in Gualaceo.

The youth and children will be the church of tomorrow. Pray for leaders who will creatively, willingly and effectively disciple the next generation.

Wow Thelma! You certainly kicked it up a gear with the blogging, Great job! I really appreciate seeing and hearing about what you guys are doing. We have also appreciated the materials that Clayton gave us, Naty is using th panoramic Bible study w/ 2 ladies and we know we'll be using it and the primeros pasos en el reino de Dios with others too. Keep up the wonderful work.
It is always so good to see pictures and hear how things are going in Ecuador. I can't believe how different Mauricio and Byron look! I guess I have to remember how many years have passed since I was there! I hope you are enjoying your time here this summer and I pray God will continue to give you wisdom as you mentor and disciple others. Bendiciones!
